Qualifications for Members of Lok Sabha

- The tenure of the members of the Lok Sabha is generally fixed at 5 years.

- In the Lok Sabha, 530 members can be elected from the state constituencies and 20 members can be elected from the union territories, apart from this 2 members can be selected from the Angla Indian community.

- Ladakh is considered to be the largest Lok Sabha constituency in terms of area. The area here is approximately 1,73,266.37.
- The Lok Sabha constituency with the lowest voter turnout is considered to be Lakshadeep.
- The members of the Lok Sabha are collectively responsible to the Council of Ministers.
