About the Author
RS Sharma was a noted historian who wrote several books on ancient and medieval India. Name in the field of History He was born in Bihar in 1919, taught at Patna and Delhi University, was a Fellow of the School of Oriental and African Studies at the University of London. Sharma was also the President of the Indian History Congress in 1975. Apart from India's ancient past, he has also written Aspects of Political Thought, Indian Feudalism, Early Medieval Indian Society, Urban Decay in India and other books. Sharma passed away in August 2011.
